Roundtable 2 - Brexit and the future of peace in Northern Ireland: politics and academics perspectives
The aim of the afternoon’s discussions is to interconnect policy makers and academia. We often hear the academic perspective on politics, but it is less common to hear the opposite. All academic speakers will give a 10 min paper on an aspect of Brexit on the basis of their expertise. The policymakers will then be asked to comment on the papers, to give their thoughts on current academic perspectives on the basis of their expertise and experience in the past.
Chair: Prof Dan Carey
